Step 2 - Working from a photograph
All portraits are created from photograph, please send your photos in for me to work from either by email (large files welcome) or by post, in which case you will receive them back in perfect condition with the finished portrait. It is best to provide multiple photographs where possible to see the subject's face at different angles and lighting. Professional photographs and those taken outside with no flash usually work best.
Step 3 - Getting to work
Before work commences I will contact you with a completion date and get all the final details of what you want your portrait to include i.e. fairy garlands in their hair, fairy wings added and colour schemes etc.
I will usually create some sketches for the overall look and layout of the portrait and contact you before I commence work so you can make any final decisions. When the painting is finished I will send an image of it by email for you to see. If you are not totally happy, I can still make some minor changes at that point in order to perfect the portrait. After you are happy with the finished portrait, payment will be required.
4 - Payment
Payment is due on completion of the work with cheque or, by PayPal.
Once payment has been received you can either collect the portrait from my studio or I can deliver it to you (their is a p&p + delivery charge of £10.00).
